LORD OF LORDS!!!
Romans 14:11
11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[a]
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[a]
All through history, the strong and wisest dominated the simple and feeble but in God's divine order, any man/woman whom
chooses Christ as their Lord & savior, can be redeemed and lifted up over their enemies. Every prophet in the bible faced adversity and trusted God to get through. During the process they moved from knowing God, as a supreme being passed down by their ancestors, to knowing God as Lord of Lords!
Noah knew about God and honored him by living just as his ancestors did before him. And when all the world became corrupted and consumed by their fleshly desires, only Noah and his family was worthy enough to start over. In this, Noah heard from God for the first time and received instruction to build an ark. His faith in God increased as he developed their relationship over the next 100 years. Imagine building a boat for aa you never heard from before and continued building it for 100 years on land witcheckh no ocean in sight. Keep in mind also, rain didn't exist because the atmosphere was a huge mist and the sun wasn't fully exposed until the flood. Now when Noah saw all these changes especially the great and small beast answering god's call by entering the ark in pairs, Noah discovered the mighty power of the most high. When the flood finally arrived and Noah witnessed God's cleansing on a immeasurably scale he drifted at sea for 40 days and he discovered how great God's provision and protection was, for the entire earth was purified for man to carry out his purpose. This is Noah's Lord of Lords experience!
Abraham a man called righteous by God himself was insructed to move out from among his people to live in a strange land. As Abraham obeyed, his faith grew to new levels and when God told him to sacrifice his miracle son
on the mountain Moriah, he obeyed. Right before he pulled down the knife, God stopped him to reveal how much Abraham trusted him and he confirmed, he always keeps his promises. I can tell you Abraham struggled and faced his fears in-order to obey God. And let's not forget how much Issac trusted his father after realizing there wasn't an animal sacrifice provided. Abraham also reasoned with God over his cousin Lot who left him for the forbidden city but God revealed his mercy and grace and saved Lots family except his wife who turned back to see the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrow in defience to God's word! Abraham's faith heightened through out his experience's with God and came to a place of knowing God as the Lord of Lords!
