SET UP!!!

                                          

When your looking in the mirror your pride can be seen from behind your stylish outfit, gleaming with success, at a glance, you stare at your trophies behind you, you know the one that stands out, it has a special sparkle when it’s touched by sunlight!

As you reminisce, you pause, almost to tears because you have sacrificed more than you’re willing to share. So many years of dark consequences and you thought it would all go away but your dreams always seem to haunt you, waking you up, late hours in the night with cold sweat perspiring down your back.

Your prescriptions keep increasing and you’re tired of appointments with psychiatrists. All your training and schooling is not helping and if you stay on course your liquor cabinet will become your coffin. Everything you’ve tried expires and you’ve realized temporary is hopelessness waiting to happen. It's a hard reality to find out you've been set up and being used for target practice!

You’ve made promises you can’t keep because your secrets have surfaced and too hard to bare, so you weep in dark corners, places no one can hear.  If only, your new title and empowerment could save you, all would be well but a person’s wealth and happiness is not measured by what he/she can hold, it’s measured by a healthy soul.
The soul needs to be feed or it will starve, why do you think we love singing and dancing and enjoy entertainment like dancing with the stars. We are all seeking happiness but the only true happiness is in worshiping the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ!

Walk and listen to me for a moment, when your skin has aged with wrinkles and your abilities diminish, which memories do you think will return to you. Every regret and sin you’ve ever committed will come knocking at your door, asking about your shameful decisions and why didn’t you ask for forgiveness!

So before another day goes by, redemption is available, for Christ already bared the shame and already paid the price!
