UNDER CONTROL!!!

Please allow me to speak hope to the depths of your soul...

I often hear people say” everything is good” as if they have LIFE UNDER CONTROL! I notice how they carry themselves and the way they dress, with a smile without any worries or regrets. So why do they splurge money they haven't work for yet and pretend to be rich and famous. Why do they seek love mates only found in love novels and use movie romantics to measure the quality of their relationships? Don't they know they're being set up for failure, similar to sailing on a sinking ship, for when reality sets in, depression and discouragement takes over? But, yet! Their LIVES ARE UNDER CONTROL.
People love to party and party hard, til morning light, consuming excess liquor to a place of drunkenness. When they were younger, their drinks were Budweiser, Heineken and longIsland Ice-Teas, now their drinks are high class, indulging in fine wine and every liquors delight. 
So of-course, with maturity liquors are served with hors d'oeuvres skirted with cocaine, heroine or the light stuff, marijuana, either way, no turning back now, they are now, one of them. As time moves on everything changes, the way they talk, the way they walk and their decision making, to the point of, when they look in the mirror, they don't recognize themselves neither their childhood friends. Who is that?  And Who am I? Well! 
Reality sets in, self-hatred sets in, thoughts of self-mutilation sets in and, now, they are OUT OF CONTROL. Their madness makes them get from desperate to obsessed and start contemplating, life & death.
Darkness and sin has overtaken them but wait! They will say their LIVES ARE UNDER CONTROL. Really! I've seen them slave for a promotion of leadership in order to show they can take charge. After some time, stress and strain has built a fortress in their minds and worry moves in, creating fears of them being replaced. Their medicine cabinet starts to look like a drug store. So extreme, they continue to take medication for ailments they no longer suffer and steal and cheat to get an edge. Their minds are perplexed with issues and become so confused and deceived they're actually considering taking their own life, but the worst of the deception is they have reached a point of no return. They will even hurt those closes to them effecting their intimacy with their spouses and children. In the end, they’re exposed and prison time is on their plates. They lose their jobs, their family and a promising future because of a prideful heart filled with malice....Wait! Hold on! Here it comes, but their lives are UNDER CONTROL.
I also heard some people say, when they wake up in the morning Grace wakes them up. When they go to work, study or practice, Peace guides their steps. When they’re betrayed or their feelings are hurt,  Comfort soothes their pain. When they fall down and make mistakes Forgiveness picks them up. When they run out & settle to a baron place, Provision steps in and when weakness overwhelms them, the most high El Sali (My God My Rock) and El Gibbor (My God My Strength) rejuvenates them. For this they know for sure, JESUS CHRIST, HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL, for he is The Hope, The Light, The Way, The Life and the greatest of all, The  Love...
So, WHO IS IN CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE?

The freedoms we have in America are still the greatest reason why this country is so great! And the ability to change for improvement to enlighten the face of this country is amazing! I heard many opinions about the recent shootings in America and all are valid because it’s from each person’s perspective, so let me share mine. If a person has never been racially profiled, discriminated against or called the “N” word then that person can’t know the fears and humiliation that follows these actions of hate, he/she can’t have the right perspective, the same if a person has never lived in the ghetto or projects or experienced a major crime against him/her.  I grow up with all of this surrounding me and I can tell you the rules are very different than most. If you didn’t dress the part you were rejected, if you didn’t stand up for yours or knew the right people, you were weak and constantly bullied. PEN OR PENCIL???

We know a pencil can erase mistakes and allow you to rewrite a word, a sentence, or a testimony, sustaining a perfect end result...  And we also know a pen is formal, permanent and has limitless styles of elegance and although it can be covered up, it still remains...  The ink, although prestigious, needs to be flawless to complete its masterpiece.  Our sins (which flaws us before God) can be hidden from the plain sight or our sins can be promoted boldly, but in either case, the consequence of sin is still death...  God's law is also permanent and cannot change and its purpose is to reveal our sins leading to judgment... As Moses was given the Ten Commandments for the Israelite's, (Hundreds followed from other nations)  They still needed a yearly sacrifice...
