WORTHY SACRIFICE!!!
Lord, we are so broken & lost, despite whom parent our upbringing.
We fall short regardless of our entitlement or status.
Our materials, our accomplishments, our presentations are
restless struggles, striving after temporary goals.
Lord, regardless of all the good we do, we still have no clue.
When we come to a place of understanding you, only then
we can serve a purpose and present an acceptable sacrifice.
Our careers, relationships, accolades, triumphs & causes, never seem complete.
You are the sustaining component to obtain fulfillment.
What can we offer, other than our obedience, a worthy sacrifice?
Lord, how great work on the hills of Calvary.
Your grace opened up a passage for us, allowing paradise for eternity
a Holy place filled with righteous people worshipping in unison.
We're aware sin crouches at the door seeking opportunity every moment of our lives.
Keep us in your prayers every day & every night.
Reveal to us your power, peace & love to conquer the darkness that makes us fright.
So often we are blind to the entrapments in our lives & fall
helplessly to its attraction.
Only your Grace & Mercy can cover when we fall into temptation.
Every decision has a consequence
& insecurities breed incompetence due to the lack of confidence.
Strongholds are designed to make us weak but through repentance
& by faithfulness we are strong.
Thank you, for never forsaking us in our time of trouble & guiding
us from foolish living.
We know our secrets haunt our dreams and our mistakes
are impossible to erase.
Jesus, you died for us, just to heal our pain & remove our stains.
We can never repay, we can never atone, we can never obtain hope,
nor erase our sins.
Happiness is so elusive when you're not the cornerstone of our love.
We receive your spirit daily into our minds & hearts.
Lead us to the day, you say, honorable & faithful, you have finished the race, welcome to paradise for the rest of your days...
